I’m a largely self-taught artist working mainly in acrylics and mixed media.
I have also dabbled in stained glass and fused glass, as well as mosaic, photography and photo editing, bead work, collage, and sketching.
My main focus at the moment is related to abstract expressionism, automatism, and action painting. Grabbing a chunk of raw, unfiltered emotions and transposing it onto a substrate without the brain’s interference is a difficult task. If successful, the process and its result is a mixture of art and psychology/therapy. It’s the world through Kim-Glasses. I am hoping to create an emotional gut reaction in you, the viewer. Good or bad, anything goes. As long as it touches you in some way, I did what I set out to do.
I am a member of the following art organizations that are all worthy of your support. Check out their websites and get involved if you have some extra time and energy..
